Fresh from the Italian Cup weekend, Bertram Yachts Derthona has resumed work in view of the last match of the regular season, scheduled for Sunday 11 April at 18.00 pm at the PalaCarnera in Udine. An important challenge from a clock stage perspective, in the event that Apu - Cup finalists - were to finish the regular season in third place.

Guest of yesterday's episode of PNR Sport Club, the Tuesday evening show of Radio PNR, the Club's media partner, Captain Riccardo Tavernelli took stock of the recently concluded LNP Italian Cup: “We played real and very close games, with playoff intensity and pace. In 24 hours we faced two tough opponents: in particular I believe that having faced Napoli, on paper the best in the championship, allowed us to understand where we are now knowing that a month and a half of work awaits us before the start of the playoffs".

The Lions' calendar, after the match against Apu Old Wild West Udine, will see a two-week stop followed by the start of the scheduled phase, scheduled for April 25th. Second phase of the tournament which will see six matches played in three weeks: a high pace of play “which we have been having since the beginning of the year, since the championship has been compressed with the inclusion of many midweek rounds. Recovery times are much shorter and the training sessions, consequently, are mainly mental and tactical rather than physical. This is included in the difficulties of playing every three days.".

The decisive phase of the Serie A2 Old Wild West is approaching, Bertram Yachts Derthona is ready to continue its journey.
