Hundreds of fans and well-wishers arrived yesterday afternoon in Via Carducci in Tortona to pay their respects to the Bertram Derthona Tortona team and staff during the end-of-season celebration.

In one of the most elegant streets in the historic city center, there is great affection for the black and white team at the end of a 2025/26 season in which they reached the Final Eight of the Italian Cup and finished fifth in the standings at the end of the regular season, exiting in the quarterfinals of the playoffs-scudetto only after an away Game 5 that was balanced until the very last seconds.

A veritable crowd gathered in front of the Derthona Basket Store for captain Baldasso and his teammates, as well as the entire staff led by head coach Mario Fioretti, who responded enthusiastically to the outpouring of support from the fans. It was a fitting end to a season that also marked the Lions' long-awaited return to Tortona after nearly fifteen years of "exile" outside the city, thanks to the opening of the Nova Arena at the Cittadella dello Sport last September.
