Bertram adds power forward Brekkott Chapman to the roster
Bertram Derthona Basketball announces that it has signed an agreement with the American athlete Brekkott Chapman.
A 206 cm, 98 kg power forward, the 29-year-old American's international experience has been concentrated primarily in the Bundesliga, a league where he spent four seasons, the last of which was at EWE Baskets Oldenburg in 2023/24, finishing with averages of 9.7 points and 5.7 rebounds in over 21 minutes, shooting 48.5% from the field and 74.1% from the free throw line in 20 games. Last season, he spent time in Japan with the Kagawa Five Arrows, where he averaged 14.1 points and 8.3 rebounds in the third division.
Brekkott will take over the spot left vacant in the Juventus forward line by the forced early departure of Eigirdas Žukauskas. He will wear the number 7 jersey at Derthona.

THE CARREER Born on April 7, 1996, in Roy, Utah, his NCAA college basketball career was split equally between his first two years at the University of Utah and his final years at Weber State, where he left in 2019 to immediately join the top German league. In Germany, he played for three different teams, starting with his first two seasons in Würzburg, followed by Heidelberg (his best year in terms of personal statistics: 13.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in 29.0 minutes per game) and Oldenburg. After his recent experience in the Far East, he now faces a new challenge in European basketball in Tortona.
